The Tigers learned much from their first loss!

Yes, we did lose our first game with the highly ranked young team we have.  We lost to Kansas, a mature team that taught us much by patiently waiting to shoot by continously passing the ball until the play develops.  We further learned that when the team's cohesion exists, confidence builds that always allows shooting percentages to increase.

As much as I like our coach and all the staff Pastner assembled, I truly believe they learned much from Kansas' coaching style.  Not only was their team mature, but the coaching was as well.  Their team just looked ready to play, while we looked frazzled and undisciplined.

We have so many new freshmen who are young and new at the collegiate level.  I belive we will get better and better.  We have a team full of guys that were not custom to losing very often when they were back in High School.  Many of our guys came to us highly ranked as 4 and 5 star recruits, and have raw talent that only needs experience and developing.

Although we are young, coaches as well as players, you gotta like our team!  As humbling as the defeat was for some of these allstars of ours, it offers our team a chance to take two steps back, and three forward.  It may very well be the catalyst to move this team to the next level.  Now they are ready to learn!  Go Tigers!!!!
